KubeCon Seattle is Almost Here

KubeCon Seattle is just around the corner and we hope to see you there Nov. 8-9. If you’re not familiar with KubeCon Seattle, the two-day event brings together thousands of Kubernetes technologists to hear from leaders in the cloud native community, share best practices, and demo new software.

Hosted by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), the event is co-located with CloudNativeCon. If you’d still like to attend the sold-out event, you can add your name to the waiting list.

We’re excited to share what we’ve been working on, and hear from an impressive lineup of speakers from Google, IBM, CoreOS, Buffer, Twitter – and, of course, Weaveworks’ own Tom Wilkie.

Tom Wilkie Talks Prometheus as a Service

Tom Wilkie’s PrometheusDay presentation, Weave Cortex: Horizontally Scalable, Multitenant Prometheus as a Service, is Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 9:50 a.m. Tom will talk about the evolution of Weave Cortex, a key component of Weave Cloud. Cortex is 100% open source, and the Weaveworks team has been collaborating with the upstream project.

Tom will have time for Q&A about Weave Cortex following his talk. To brush up on Kubernetes Prometheus integration, check out Tom’s four-part blog series on the topic.

Visit the Weaveworks Booth

You can see Weave Cortex in action at booth 2 throughout the conference. Several members of the Weaveworks team will also be on hand to talk about the possibilities Kubernetes offers, including COO Mathew Lodge, Head of Developer Experience Luke Marsden, and Developer Experience Engineer Ilya Dmitrichenko. Heavily involved in open source projects, Luke and Ilya are both notable contributors to the cluster deployment tool, kubeadm, which dramatically simplifies kubernetes cluster deployment. If you’ve got questions about kubeadm or broader lifecycle management, the team wants to hear from you.

And you won’t want to miss the swag – be sure to get your Weaveworks gear before it’s gone.

Don’t forget to attend Tom Wilkie’s presentation, Weave Cortex: Horizontally Scalable, Multitenant Prometheus as a Service and we look forward to seeing you in Seattle.
