I had a great time last week, giving two talks at Software Circus in Amsterdam and Container Camp in London. Both talks went over the basic reasoning behind our use of CRDTs and consensus-free state management, as related in Tom’s recent post, and many people came up to me afterwards to say that this was an important topic, and agreed that implementing DNS using etcd or consul is not the only way to go.
