Accept the Automation Challenge

Weaveworks and Shippable want to keep the fun rolling from AWS re:Invent, so join us for The Automation Challenge! Here’s the gist: you race to set up fully automated deployments of the front-end component for the containerized Socks Shop eCommerce application in less than 30 minutes. The sample application features Amazon ECS, Amazon ECR, Weave Scope, and Shippable. You’ll fork and clone repos and configure an automated CI/CD pipeline.

What can you win? Weaveworks and Shippable are raffling off eight $50 Amazon gift cards after participants complete the challenge. To be eligible, you need to tweet a screenshot of your pipeline SPOG to @BeShippable and @weaveworks with the message “I just completed the automation challenge at bit.ly/reinventChallenge #ContinuousDelivery.”

We’ll announce the winners Thursday, Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. PST.
